A Nutty Treat

365 Photo Challenge - Day 10

A Nutty Treat

This squirrel had just taken a peanut from me and got up on the
fence to avoid other squirrels who might take it from him.
Only problem was, he couldn't hold onto the fence
and eat the nut at the same time.

Hidden Away

Hidden among the snowy pine tree branches
is a cold Blue Jay.

Glitter in the Air

365 Day Challenge - Day 6

Glitter in the Air

I was attempting to photograph the lights glowing half a mile away,
but when I looked at the outcome I thought something was wrong with
my Kodak camera. I soon realized it was snow reflecting back my flash.

Lavatories: A Study in Circles and Ovals

365 Photo Challange - Day 4

Lavatories: a study in circles and ovals

I needed to go to the hardware store today and saw a
long row of toilets. I had to laugh as they met the "circles" assignment
for day 4 of the 365 Photo Challenge.

365 Photo Challenge - Day 3

From The Brink of Death

When I brought this Geranium in from the deck this past fall,
I wasn't sure it would survive. The first freezing temps came earlier
than was expected, and had killed off most of the plant. I have been
babying it and worrying that there wasn't enough sunlight available.
My worrying was for naught because these bright red flowers
bloomed overnight. They were a nice surprise when I got up this morning.
